The Bubble Bowl

Ahh...with the Super Bowl fast approaching I am reminded of my favorite thing about them...the commercials. I recently came across and interesting article at Forbes that discussed what they labeled "The Bubble Bowl". It's a fascinating read that is followed by an even more amusing slide show discussing the embarrassing dot.com ads that millions were spent on only to be wasted away in the dot.com bubble burst that shortly followed. Read on and be entertained.

I'm happy to say that I live sevral thousand miles from the influence of the SuperBowl. :-) The only time it a mention over here is when a singer unexpectedly flashes a breast. It's then very interesting to watch the hypocrites going on about how disturbing this is and that the owner of the breast is fully to blame rather than the man that exposed it.

Once again the rest of the world shakes it's head in disbelief over Americans...
