The Bubble Bowl

Ahh...with the Super Bowl fast approaching I am reminded of my favorite thing about them...the commercials. I recently came across and interesting article at Forbes that discussed what they labeled "The Bubble Bowl". It's a fascinating read that is followed by an even more amusing slide show discussing the embarrassing dot.com ads that millions were spent on only to be wasted away in the dot.com bubble burst that shortly followed. Read on and be entertained.

Do You Want to Live Forever?

I came across an interesting article today that dealt with the idea of genetically fixing humans so that they could essentially stop the aging process and allow us to live forever as long as we don't get hit by a truck or something. I had always wondered about this and whether it was even possible. I thought, wouldn't it be interesting if someone actually found a way to stop cell deterioration? Well this article talks about a man who has many theories on the subject and is actually well respected in the industry. He claims it may be possible to stop the aging process in as little as thirty years from now. It's a fascinating read. Could this be our fountain of youth?
